Tzavta #51 with Calgary Pro Musica

On Saturday, October 5th, we were excited to host the renowned Jupiter String Quartet along with guest violist Phillip Ying and cellist David Ying for an intimate performance, dinner and conversation. This extraordinary ensemble performed one of the most famous string sextets in the classical music repertoire, Arnold Schoenberg’s Verklärte Nacht, Op. 4 (1899), and then talked with CPM’s Artistic Director Dean O’Brien about careers in classical music, music competitions and life as musicians.
